Globecomm hosted their annual techforum bringing together innovators from various data and analytics industries to "explore how the rapid evolution of Devices, Networks and Applications are powering the growth of the Industrial Internet of Things and new media markets". Speaking in one of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) panels was GSE's very own director, Jeffery Palmer. The panel focused on value added propositions within the marketplace. His analysis sheds light on the fact that companies understand they need access to remote data to drive revenue, lower costs and increase productivity, however, they are unsure of how to bridge the gap between the concept and application. He points out how GSE strives to engineer innovative solutions that enable clients access to the data they require to properly monitor, manage, and maximize their assets in the field.
